The latest new Mwembe tayari Naivas Supermarket branch will operate 24 hours in a bid to tap the growing business space in Mombasa.

Naivas limited Chief Commercial Officer Willy Kimani said that the supermarket will tap on the late evening workers and other Mombasa dwellers in a bid to realign itself with the 24 hour economy government prospects.

Speaking in Mombasa, Mr. Kimani said that Naivas supermarket has overseen the business space in Mombasa County and it has great plans to ensure more branches are launched and Mombasa residents shop at anytime.

“We want to beat the stiff competition in Mombasa, we are different and everything we sell is fresh,” said Mr. Kimani.

He said that Mombasa has great business potentials and opportunities that is why their three branches of Nyali, Likoni and Mwembe tayari are prospering.

He also revealed that by taking over Mombasa, other business entities in the county and in the region will directly benefit from the supply chain.

“Our company is real focusing on empowering the local small scale business by supplying us with fresh farm produce and products,” he added.

Naivas has a mega store in Ukunda Kwale County where according to Mr. Kimani it has generated business to the company.

He said that company directors are working on opening more shopping stores in the entire Coast region as the company now boasts of a total of 49 branches countrywide.
