The Coronavirus cases shoot to 179 on Wednesday after 7 more cases were confirmed.
Health Chief Administrative Secretary Doctor Mercy Mwangangi confirmed the 7 after a validation of 305 more samples in the last 24 hours.
Two more patients have fully recovered from the disease totaling the number of Covid-19 patients who fully recovered from the disease to 9.
Dr. Mwangangi also announced that two patients who were critically and under ventilators have stabilized and are out of danger.
He however expressed concerns as the productive generation was being netted into the Coronavirus curve.
“Three of the confirmed cases were of youth under 15 years, a sign that the youthful generation is at risk,” revealed Dr. Mwangangi.
She urged youth to observe health and safety measures provided by the Ministry of health so as to evade the pandemic.
The government is stressing out ofn regularly washing of hands with clean running water with soap, wearing masks and embracing social distancing.
The government has so far tested 5, 278 people across the country.
The seven more confirmed cases on Wednesday were of 4 females and three males.
5 patients are from Nairobi, one from Mombasa and 1 from Uasin gishu County.
The government is planning to employ 500 more doctors countrywide to fight the deadly disease.
