Italian aid worker who was kidnapped in Kenya in November 20th, 2018 has finally joined her family in Italy.
Sylvia Roman Costanza was abducted by Al-shabab militia men in Chakama, Kilifi County in a nasty attack that left 5 people including a 10 year old boy nursing serious gunshot wounds.
Italians have been piling pressure on the Kenya government to speed up investigations against Sylvia Romano’s abductors.
Ms Romano, 23 was a volunteer at the Africa Milele Onlus children’s home at Chakama in Malindi, Kilifi County.
she is said to have been forced into Islamic region by her abductors.
According to Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte, they were worried about Sylvia’s safety since 20th November last year when she was abducted by Al-shabab militia men.
Earlier, Kenya government identified Ibrahim Aden Omar, Yusuf Kuno Aden and Said Adan Abdi as the masterminds of the Africa Milele Onlus attack 18 months ago.
Police placed a 3 million shillings bounty on the three and appealed for cooperation in netting them.
