TV personality Abuller Ahmed has finally called it a day at the Kenya Red Cross Society Owned TV station Switch TV.

Mr. Ahmed has announced that he is heading to Mediamax Network Limited owned K24.

The young dedicated sports and News anchor has had a plumb career since he joined KTN News some four years back.

Abuller who later ditched KTN News for Switch TV said a journalist is never stagnant and one should always take risk.

Mr. Ahmed who was almost left out of ‘The Presenter’ finalists, a audition program done periodically by the Standard Group Limited was later absorbed as a Swahili sports reporter.

The auditions also saw Mitchell Ngele and Jamal Gadaffi clinching the top positions with Abuller Ahmed becoming third.

Some of those who were later considered for various positions after SK Macharia raided both Standard Group and Nation Media Group in 2019 are Fridah Mwaka who during ‘The Presenter’ auditions clinched position four.

Ahmed seem to be sharpening his journalism career and would not leave any opportunity that comes across him.

The father of one is striving to make his journalism journey memorable.

He is renowned for his love of sports and Abuller would put all his energy in ensuring his vast audience across the country and abroad get the required quality sports bulletin.

Abuller however appreciates his former employers, The Standard Group and Switch TV for giving him the opportunity to serve his audience the only he can.

However, many have faulted his move with the doubtful history of Mediamax Network Limited.

K24 which fired most of its journalists twice in a single may not be the best destination for the dedicated tireless TV News anchor.

K24 TV was set to merge with KTN News a deal that never materialised and K24 seem to be restructuring.
