American pop star Beyonce has dropped a new song ‘Spirit’ with Swahili lyrics in its introduction.
The lyrics…’Uishi kwa muda mrefu Mfalme’ that loosely translates to live long the king is chanted twice in the beginning of the song.
‘Spirit’ is part of ‘The lion King’, the gift Album produced by the American star and will be used as a soundtrack to Disney’s new version of the classic movie ‘Lion King.
The album is set to be released on July 19 during the global release of the film. It will feature work of several producers according to the top artist.

“It was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers, Heart and authenticity was everything I needed,” revealed Beyonce in a statement.
