Tanzania’s Superstar Rajab Abdul Kahali famously known as Harmonize has been arrested by police in Kenya’s Capital city, Nairobi in what is alleged as obtaining money by false pretense.

According to police reports, Harmonize also known as ‘Konde Boy’ is detained at the Kileleshwa police station after allegedly failing to perform at several clubs in Nairobi and Mombasa.

Konde Boy had obtained money from Bar owners and Club proprietors in Nairobi and Mombasa with an aim of entertaining and as well making Physical appearances in those clubs.

Also implicated in the syndicate is Comedian Eric Omondi who was the one to take Harmonize around the club’s for the entertainment or physical appearances.

However Omondi who has since vanished says the confusion has been caused by the Club owners who could not differentiate between an artist performing or just making a physical appearance and leave.

“There is no confusion at all if an artist appear at a club for five minutes and leave, that is per the agreement, it is physical appearance and not performance,” noted Omondi.

He said in some clubs, Harmonize was meant to appear, seat down and just have a drink and leave.

“However, the Club owners made a mistake of inviting their clients telling them that the Tanzanian artist was meant to perform,” reiterated Omondi.

The talented Tanzanian artist is still cooling his feet at the Kileleshwa police station as more complainants flock the station to file with the police their demands from the renowned artist.

At the Captain Lounge, Sabaki and Arthi River some Bar and Club owners claimed to have spent millions of shillings in preparation for Harmonize performance, but the wait remained just a long wait.

Harmonize was also to perform at the ‘Africa Moja Concert’ at the KICC in Nairobi where he did not.

Another loser in the racket is Former Nairobi Governor and Mombasa County Governor’s aspirant Mike Mbuvi Sonko who paid Ksh. 400,000 for Harmonize to perform at his Club Volume in Shanzu, Mombasa, but the artist was missing in action.

Konde Boy is famously known for his hit songs ‘Mpaka Kesho’ Mwaka wangu, Jeshi among other entertaining songs.
