The famous ‘Toddy’ hit maker Oliver Mtukudzi took a final bow before his creator on Wednesday afternoon after battling diabetes for over a month.
Mtukudzi, born 66 years ago in Zimbabwe was a businessman, Philanthropist, Human rights defender and UNICEF Good will Ambassador for the Southern Africa region.
Well known by his fans across the globe as ‘Tuku’ he was considered as Zimbabwean most renowned musician especially for his cultural touch all the time.
He built his name within Zimbabwe and beyond earning international recognition.
Hi succumbed to diabetes in Harare on Wednesday afternoon.
