Deutsche Welle News presenter and reporter Jacob Safari on Wednesday tied the knot in an ‘invited only wedding’ ceremony in Mombasa.

Details of the midweek wedding remain scanty but the afternoon reception held at Kongowea was attended by few Mombasa based journalists close to the calm and composed journalist.

Jacob Safari married his long time lover Nuru Ali whom together they worked at Sheki FM, a Coast based gospel radio station.

The humble and down to earth journalist is currently working at Germany where he has based in reporting and presenting news and current affairs across the world.

His now legally wife Nuru Ali has since left Sheki FM.

The station is said to be facing financial constraints.
