Former Capital FM’s DJ Lithium laid to rest

The late Alex Murimi Nderi popularly known as DJ Lithium was buried on Friday in an emotional send-off ceremony attended by family, friends and his colleagues from Capital FM.

DJ Lithium died on January 20, after collapsing at his workplace.

He was aged 34.

He was buried at their home in Mugwambogo village, in Kyeni, Embu county.

He is said to have committed suicide in the Capital FM offices leaving behind suicide note and deleting all his social media handles.

It is alleged that he took a rat poison.

Later reports emerged that his wife infected him with HIV, however the reports are yet to be substantiated.
