Former Radio Rahma sports Editor lands safely at Bahari FM


Former Radio Rahma sports reporter, anchor and Editor Luqman Mahmoud Abdallah has officially stepped in Bahari FM studios as Sheki FM sports anchor Ali Mwalimu Tolly replaces him.

The young sports journalist made his debut at the Royal Media Service owned Bahari FM radio station that broadcasts within the Coast region and will be mandated to man the sports desk.

Luqman a humble, cool, composed, dedicated sports and news reporter, anchor and editor has worked at Radio Rahma for four years undoubtedly leaving a gap at the sports desk.

Luqman a renowned radio Presenter who is always in the field gathering sports program content before presenting well researched sports analysis and commentaries in the top ‘Rahma Viwanjani’ sports show, is undoubtedly a worthy utility at Bahari FM.

Before bidding bye bye to the Coast based finest Radio Rahma, his colleagues shared a cake in an in-house small party that left the 25 year old renowned Coast top sports journalist in tears of joy.

“In journalism career growth is inevitable, Radio Rahma has nurtured me to where I am today, I will always respect the strong talents among them the Station manager Veronica Mweu, Programs manager Faiz Musa and the Head of news Ruth Keah,” he said

Radio Rahma’s Programs Manager Faiz Muza Abdallah termed Luqman as a hardworking young journalist with a bright future in journalism.

“Respect at work place is very important, dedication, hardworking, creativity and research molds an intelligent journalist,” he said.

On her part Radio Rahma’s head of news Ruth Keah congratulated Luqman on his new move urging him to maintain the tireless spirit.
