Renowned TV Personality Hussein Mohammed is bidding Citizen Television a good bye!
Mohammed has worked for the channel for over a decade and says he wants to pursue other personal interests.
In his post, Mohammed has greatly appreciated his viewers, friends, citizen television management and other great personalities who made his media career a memorable one.
“It has been a wonderful 10 years at Citizen TV. I have enjoyed and relished every moment I shared with my colleagues at Royal Media Service. I have decided to take a break after October Insha Allah to concentrate on other matters. Loved the fans, the critics and everything in between. See you soon,” wrote Mohammed.
He has taken the big political wigs including Deputy President William Ruto, Raila Odinga, among other political personalities head on in his hard-talk show ‘The big question’ that has been airing on Citizen Television every Wednesday during the 9 pm live news cast.
Mohammed leaves a bid gap at the most watched TV channel in the country that boasts wider reach and coverage following its investment in its local content.
However with the recent S.K. Macharia NTV and KTN News raid, the channel might not be shaken any by the departure of the humble, tough and dedicated hard-talk show host Hussein Mohammed.
He is set to official ditch the station in October, 31.
