Little did I know that Robby Dallaz was once an artist and a vibrant dancer about ten years ago.
He has had his fair share if tribulations in life pursuing his Mass communication career facing drastic challenges to an extent of almost dropping out of the race but his personal instincts encouraged him to soldier on.
For him landing safely at Radio Kaya and hosting a very challenging youthful entertainment mid-morning show ‘Kaya Flavaz’ was the eighth wonder of the world.
Many youthful audience of the show openly reveal that ‘Kaya flavaz’ has actually grasped a fresh breath that cares about upcoming, established and aspiring artists.
He is referred to as ‘The King of entertainment’
His vast youthful fans across the Coast region refer to him as ‘Mfalme wa Kizazi kipya’ which loosely translates to ‘The King of new generation music’ some baptised him as ‘Jamaa la ma-items’ following his rib cracking, heart braking and unbelievable entertainment gossips, Robert Matano is his real name.
According to a video posted on Radio Kaya Facebook page, Dallaz revealed that he was the 9th born of a family with a total of 12 children, now you know why ‘The King of new generation music’ has had a tough life.
However, his go getter kind of attitude has made him a quick growing Radio presenter who is giving his opponent a serious competition in the entertainment jungle.
He wants to host President Uhuru Kenyatta
“I want to host President Uhuru Kenyatta at ‘Kaya Flavas’ youthful entertainment show so that the President can talk to his own youths,” he reveals.
He has taken the Coast region by storm especially after the station launched is recently 88.5 radio frequency in Lamu County.
Robby Dallaz is also quenching the thirsty youthful audience with serious entertainment in every Sunday afternoon show ‘Kali zetu’ (Our hits) show that focuses more on the Coastal new upcoming artists.

“I believe if I give all the artists the chance to be heard and actually be hosted at the station in this particular show I will have played my role to the youths,” revealed Dallaz.
In the video dubbed ‘Taaswira’ Dallaz is being interviewed by Radio kaya’s late night bango music show presenter, Dominick Mwambui.
The tireless, religious, joyous Robby Dallaz is also an outgoing person with his own social life.
He values and loves his family and he respects people.
He inherited the show after mass exodus at Radio Kaya, but Dallaz is giving his competitors tough times in the Coast entertainment scene.
He loves culture
His hairstyle is always Jordan and loves wearing cultural attires specifically the famous Mijikenda attire Kisutu.

The top radio presenter who is currently rocking the Coast region entertainment scene worked at formerly Pilipili FM but jumped off the wagon even before the staffs were declared redundant.
The young energetic humble radio presenter is reluctant about revealing his love life but in the next five years of some hard work and giving his audience the required entertainment dose, he wants to ensure the independent Mijikenda radio station Radio Kaya grows into a bigger established media house with both digital and visual media outlets that will quench not only the vast Coastal audience but Kenyans thirst and need of information.
“Apart from seeing the company am working in growing, artists growing and top the East Africa entertainment scene, I also want to grow myself,” disclosed Mr. Robert Matano Alias Robby Dallaz.
