Renowned music producer Shirko wants to meet Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.
He says he has specific but very critical agenda about the music industry in Mombasa that the governor needs to know and possibly act.
According to Shirko the Governor has been very supportive to the entertainment industry in Mombasa and he wants a face to face meeting with him to streamline on various pertinent issues within the entertainment scene.
The experienced music producer Songwriter, Composer and singer worked in Tanzania for years singing with the 2 Berries and later brought the rich experience in Mombasa is calling for a close working relation between partners in the entertainment industry.
Shirko of the Shirko Media Music production house located at Ganjoni in Mombasa says the current challenges facing the industry can only be streamlined if Joho pays an ear to the players.
Though Mombasa Governor has recently been out of the limelight after being taken ill, Shirko believes that the caring Governor will lend them an ear.
“All the issues revolving around the entertainment industry in Mombasa will be stated in that meeting, but our goal is to meet him first,” said Shirko.

He revealed that the efforts are meant to streamline the entertainment industry in Mombasa and beyond.
Shirko is well known for making good artist best.
He has nurtured artists among them Ally Mahaba who’s is currently doing well and earning adequate airplay in most of the Coast regional radio station and beyond.
Amoury Beyby is also another top Mombasa artist who is doing pleasantly well in the music industry.
Back in Tanzania Shirko a song writer, composer, singer and renowned producer nurtured the famous ‘Yamoto band’ that later disintegrated.
