Gates Mgenge, a renowned radio Presenter who has been in the cold for at least a year after being axed by MediaMax limited owned Pilipili FM is finally back at Pwani FM.
Pilipili FM has since re-branded to Msenangu FM after poaching all Radio kaya presenters in April last year.
The entertainer, radio Presenter and Master of Ceremony has been Managing Susumila’s music with the 001 music label that Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho is the main sponsor.
Mgenge, a talented radio personality no doubt will give other radio presenters serious competition.
However, the wave may affect the ‘Mashavmashav mid-morning youthful entertainment show that is being hosted by two lovebirds Ken Wekesa famously known as 1-GB and Mwanamkuu Kombo well known as Maku.

1GB and Maku secretly got married last year after Ken converted to Islam.
The two have been paring well in hosting the Mashav mashav entertainment show.
However, with the return of gates Mgenge, the two may be redeployed to others shows mostly drive or late night show.
Another one who has secured place at the KBC’s sister station Pwani FM is Radio Kaya’s Sylvester Chibero.
Mr. Chibero an experienced News reporter and radio talk show host has been hosting radio Kaya’s gospel show ‘Sima tushangilie’ every Sunday morning after he was axed from Pilipili FM together with Gates Mgenge.
He has also been sitting in for Radio Kaya’s Fataki ya ukweli talk show host Mwahoka Mtsumi.
Mr. Mtsumi heads Radio Kaya’s News department.
Another returnee at the station is Mr. Fundi Bengo who worked at the station, moved to Radio Salaam, went to Radio China International and he is now back at home.
The station is trying to restructure after it also suffered Media Max limited wave where its top presenters Josphen Mwangemi and Gaspery Tumaini ditched the station to Msenangu FM.
