In a bid to beat the stiff competition in the already flooded Coast radio industry, Sauti ya Pwani FM has embarked on a major revamp of the station.
The move is aimed at taming the stiff competition in the regional radio broadcasting sector.
Mombasa County has a total of 10 radio station leave alone those broadcasting nationally and internationally hitting the Coastal airwaves.
Sauti ya Pwani is slowly gaining a share of the Coastal audience that top radio stations being Radio Kaya, Pwani FM, Baraka FM, Bahari FM have been enjoying for years.
Top radio personalities
A renowned radio personality with a commanding voice Solomon Zully is hosting the Breakfast show Sauti asubuhi alongside Luthfia Bakari.
Bakari recently moved to Sauti ya Pwani FM from Baraka FM.

She moved with Sammy Mwaura who hosted the famous Chanja maswala talk show at Baraka FM.
Mwaura the current Sauti ya Pwani FM Station manager double up as the evening talk show host Gumzo pevu.
Mwaura also with a strong commanding broadcasting voice carries with him his rich radio broadcasting experience and wider audience to Sauti ya Pwani FM.
Former radio Salaam news Anchor Zubeda Farid takes over as the midmorning show host Sauti ya Mwanamke.

The midmorning show mainly focuses on women issue mainly health, business, education, leadership, activism among others.
The Coast region sports show hosts should also get prepared for a stiff battle as radio sports legend Japheth Kahindi famously known as Makanaki together with young talented Hajj Kibwanga are taking over the Coast sports desk.
The two are well known for their captivating sports gathering, packaging and presenting.
Makanaki and Kibwanga are also top in sports interviews, analysis and commentary.
They will be presenting daily sports news updates and a weekly three hour sports show every Saturday from 3-6 pm
No doubt the station is weighing into the tough competition within the Coast regional broadcasting sector.
A researcher and historian Stanmbul Nassir Abdillah will be hosting the weekend breakfast show Baraza la Star!
For the lovers of history and tangible Coast resources debate have been given a platform air their concerns about history, culture, human rights issues, the chronic land issues, gross human rights violation among other humanitarian and rights concerns.
