Muslims across the country marked the end of Holy Month of Ramadan on Monday. This is after the Kenya’s Chief Kadh Sheikh Ahmed Muhdhar made the official announcement on Sunday evening. Eid-Ul-Fitri is marked after Muslims observe the Holy Month of Ramadan by fasting and being prayerful. However, in Mombasa journalists both Christians and Muslims tried their best to give the Eid-ul-Fitri prayer special coverage it deserved. At Ronald Ngala Primary School in Tudor where Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, Mvita MP and Mombasa Gubernatorial Aspirant Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir and Mombasa Businessman cum politician Suleiman Shahbal prayed, the journalists from Radio, TV, Newspaper and Digital stations did their best starting from the attire. So who was the best among the rest? Photos/Courtesy.

[I just love the maroon colour but someone else I can’t disclose just told me that she…let’s be frank here and underline the word ‘She’ loved the shoes more. I am not so sure if it’s only the pair of shoes that attracted her. Anyway its up to her to update us on what really attracted her to the Radio Kaya Sports journalists and Sports Programme ‘Mshike Mshike Viwanjani’ host, Bakari Ali. He was present too].

[Wow! That’s TV47 Senior Coast Reporter Petronillah Goren, gorgeous in her attire. Though she is not used to, but for the respect of the Muslims and the fact that work must be done and done properly well, she decided to do it. Furthermore when duty calls you have no option but to inform the Public. Congratulations to Madam Goren].

[Remember Hajj Ramadhan? He worked for a Coast based Islamic station Radio Rahma before joining Pwani TV. The multi-talented journalists later joined Mombasa County Government as Senior Press Officer under the Sub-County Administration. He was present and doing his best during the Eid-Ul-Fitri prayer at Ronald Ngala grounds in Mombasa].

[Now, introducing the new kid on the block! Angelina Musee who suddenly acquired the name Aisha during the Eid-Ul-Fitri prayer. Angelina, like Petronillah Goren of TV47, though forced by circumstances she adopted to the situation so that she could give us full report of what transpired in Mombasa during the celebrations. Angelina reports for Mutongoi TV, A National Television station that broadcasts in Kamba language. She is glowing isn’t she?].

[The two journalists, Radio Kaya’s Sports and News reporter Bakari Ali (Left) with Ramogi TV Coast based Senior Reporter George Aoko. After some serious coverage they just decided to take some shot. Am not so sure if it was meant for remembrance or for sharing with their….I also don’t know with who?].

[This time the pair was a real pair. How you will interpret this information is completely none of my concern.
