The resurfacing of photos of a drained Coastal rapper Sokoro has elicited painful reactions from fans.
The once glittering local rapper famously known for his track ‘Hii Musiki’ is now slowly deteriorating in drug dens.
Fans who use to enjoy his lyrics ‘Naangusha mistari ndani ya tabasamu’ about a decade ago have been speculating on the whereabouts of the talented rapper.
Though Sokoro was once reported to have been fully immersed in drugs, he was taken to a rehabilitation center, efforts that seem to have yielded no fruits.
His fans have appealed to local leaders to rescue the once Coastal top rapper who entertained his vast fans.
His songs attracted adequate airplay in various radio stations in the region among them Baraka FM that used to play his hip-hop genre.

He recorded his music at the Tabasamu records with such circles as CLD, Rude Boyz, Sharma, Ukoo Flani, and Cannibal who has since turned to gospel music.
He was known as Mombasa’s Bad Boy after releasing a number of club bangers and left a mark in the Coast entertainment industry.
However, all the promising talent is now drained to drugs.
“Where is Mr. Taib Abdulrahman, the renowned anti-drug activist in the region to help this young artist?” posted Peter, one of his one diehard fans.
