A body believed to be that of a man who dived at the Indian Ocean on Saturday night has been recovered.
The Kenya Ferry Services Company said unidentified body was spotted floating at the Base titanium docking area.
The rescue team comprising of Beach Management Unit (BMU), Maritime Police and the Coast Guard Service (CGS) who have been on patrol since Sunday but in vain were informed about the body and they retrieved it.
The middle aged man is said to have dived into the Indian Ocean aboard MV- harambee on Saturday at dived into the Indian Ocean around 1 am.
According to locals on board, the man was drunk and could not walk properly.
None of the locals was able to identify the body and it was taken to the Coast general referral hospital morgue.
