Mombasa County director of Communication and Public relations Richard Chacha is among the 54 shortlisted candidates for the post of National Cohesion and integration NCIC Commissioners.
Mr. Chacha a former KBC and NTV senior political reporter and editor has been working for the Ali Hassan Joho government for the last five years.
Chacha who appear as the only candidate in the category of persons with disabilities is slated for the job if transparency and consideration in the interview is anything to go by.
Chacha a humble hardworking journalist despite physically challenged has been doing tremendously well in the Joho’s office a position he clinched after the former County director of communication Esther Ingolo moved to the gender department.
According to the notifications placed in the dailies by the National assembly clerk Michael Sialai, the public was asked to forward any complaints or inputs to the clerk before 9th of this month.
Another senior journalist and Nation Media Group Coast Bureau Chief Catherine Njeri Rugene is also among the nominees.
The Coast media fraternity on Friday wished the two all the very best in their search for the new appointments.
