Former leader of majority in the National assembly Aden Duale’s brother has been laid to rest.
The late Hajj Dubow Barre Duale was burries at his home in Garissa.
Special prayers for the departed were held at the Ibnu Qayim mosque in Garissa where the deceased was the Chairperson.
Barre, 62, was a renowned peacemaker, reconciliator, distinguished businessman and a community leader well known to the local community.
He succumbed injuries after he was involved in a grisly road accident along the Garissa Nairobi highway.
The Garissa township MP eulogised his brother as the one who brought him up and contributed to all successes in his life.
“We surely belong to Allah and to him we shall return,” posted Duale.
Deputy President William Ruto also mourned Barre saying he contributed in to a peaceful community that embraced coexistence.
