Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has challenged politicians across the country to focus more on development instead of the forth coming general elections.

Mudavadi says the ongoing political battles have worsened the country’s state of affairs with Kenyans suffering in silence.

According to Mudavadi it is disheartening to see political battles all over the country while Kenyans are suffering from drastic economic difficulties.

He criticised such politicians saying Kenyans are not interested in such political bickering.

“The Coronavirus pandemic is no longer a priority, we only see 2022 politics,” said Mr. Mudavadi.

Caring less

He also expressed concerns with the way the government is handling the floods in the country.

“We have so far lost over 200 lives as a result of flooding but none of our leaders is taking the matter with seriousness it deserves,” noted Mudavadi.

The ANC party leader quizzed the way 2022 politics have taken centre stage leaving Kenyans on their own.

He appealed to the government to invest more on tackling issues that have direct benefit to Kenyans.

The country has been thrown into early 2022 general polls temperatures.

Jubilee and ODM political parties have dropped from critical house committee some of its members believed to be advancing Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.
