The recently initiated FOKAS Community based organisation Pwani Chapter will instill knowledge about the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report to Mombasa residents.
The newly FOKAS Mombasa County Chairperson Mohammed Hussein famously known as Amadoh said the BBI report touches on various aspects that directly concerns Kenyans.
Addressing youths at Majengo in Mombasa on Thursday, Mr. Hussein said youths are the game changer of the country’s leadership and they play the bigger role of maintaining peace.
He said youth should not be left out of the BBI debate urging them raise their voices.
“As FOKAS Organisation, we will not only focus on the BBI report but enlighten and educate the public on their roles and responsibilities as Kenyans,” he noted.
He said the community activists will focus more on development, leadership, democracy and more so unite the community for a common goal of uplifting the lives of locals.
Hussein revealed that locals through various forums organised by FOKAS will be able to embrace peace, social work and diligently serving their own community.
Meanwhile, Mr. Hussein is urging the youth to change the scripture and fully get involved in development and political leadership.
He said youth only play the role of being used and misused during general elections urging them to get prepared and get into leadership come 2022.
