The State has handed Kenyans 60 more days indoors from 10 pm to 4 am.

In a statement to newsrooms on Sunday, Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i said the curfew is further extended due to the soaring of Covid-19 positive cases.

He said the curfew will be extended for two months as the government weighs on various ways of containing the spread of the deadly virus.

The government has further extended the ban on public gatherings for an unknown period of time.

Meanwhile, the security agents have been further directed to fully implement the curfew orders so as to avoid reckless mingling among Kenyans, especially at night.
