Covid-19 may be a virus Kenyans will be forced to live with for longer.
World Health Organization (WHO) has warned the virus may not end soon and states urged to put strategies on how they can live with it.
Meanwhile in Kenya, Covid-19 cases hit 758 while two deaths were registered on Thursday.
The new figures raise Coronavirus deaths in the country to 42.
While releasing the statistics, Health CAS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi said a 7-year-old and a 79 are among 21 new infections, 4 are truck drivers who were tested at the Kenya-Tanzania border at Namanga.
12 cases are from Mombasa, 4 from Kajiado, 1 from Uasin Gishu, and four from Nairobi.
“We would like to thank all our able surveillance teams, health care workers and multi-agency team who have come forth to fight the virus within our communities,” she said.
Kenya also registered 3 more recoveries totaling the number of Covid-19 recoveries to 284.
The government has so far tested 36, 918 people, in a move aimed at containing the virus even as the World Health Organisation warned that it is here to stay.
