Kenya Covid-19 curve hits 363

The government has confirmed 8 more Covid-19 cases totaling the number of those affected by the disease in the country to 363.

Four cases are from Mombasa while 3 are from Nairobi.

A single case was also registered in Kwale County raising the figure of those affected by the disease in the county to two.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe while addressing journalists said all the four Mombasa cases are from Mombasa Island.

“For Kwale case the patient is said to be from neighbouring country Tanzania,” revealed Mr. Kagwe.

The three cases registered in Nairobi are from mandatory quarantine facility at the Kenyatta University and the subjects are from Kibra slums.

All the patients are aged between 13 and 65 years.

The deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic remain 14.

Mutahi has once appealed to Kenyans to strictly adhere to health and safety measures provided by the government.
