Wundanyi Member of Parliament Danson Mwashako has urged his constituents to fully adhere to health and safety provisions so as to curtail the spread of Covid-19 disease.
Mwashako urged his constituents to be responsible in fighting the deadly disease in the constituency.
The Legislature who is distributing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in his constituency cautioned locals against ignoring the health and safety guidelines from the government.
Among the beneficiaries are judiciary staffs, police officers, Bodaboda riders among other locals in Wundanyi constituency.
He advocated for regular washing of their hands with clean water and soap, sanitise their hands and observe social distancing.
“At least we all know there is deadly Covid-19 diseases in the country, we must take precautionary measures to curb the spread,” noted Mr. Mwashako.
The MP appealed to locals to take the lead role in fighting the pandemic.
“Covid-19 is not a leader’s disease, it can wipe all of us within shortest time, kindly let’s observe safety and health guidelines,” added the lawmaker.

Mwashako has already distributed face masks, sanitisers, among other PPE within his constituency.
The exercise is fused with awareness and health education about the disease to the public so as to avert health crisis in Taita taveta county.
He stressed out on the importance of health education to locals.
Mwashako’s efforts come amid increasing numbers of Covid-19 cases in the country.
On Saturday the Covid-19 curve hit 343 after seven more cases were confirmed during President Uhuru Kenyatta’s 5th National address.
