The government will impose even more stringent measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said in the recent past, Kenyans have depicted their thirsty for Covid-19 virus.
He said some people have been misusing the reopening of eateries changing them into bars and spirits spots.
Kagwe said Mombasa and Nairobi need even more tough measures to curb the spread of the virus since most Kenyans have returned into normal activities fearing less about the deadly virus.
He scoffed at some Kenyans for ignoring health and safety measures provided by the government to tame Coronavirus in the country.
“You go to an eatery you order one sausage and 2 beers, you move to another eatery and you order a sausage and two beers, what are you doing?” posed Kagwe.
He said such behavior is meant to soar the Covid-19 numbers.
“Instead of supporting the government initiatives in taming the spread of Coronavirus you are derailing its efforts?” he said.
Kagwe said indiscipline Kenyans will not be condoned and the government will impose more stringent measures to contain the disease.
The country’s Coronavirus curve hit 672 on Sunday with 239 recoveries and 32 deaths.
