This may not happen anytime soon as Dr. Miguna Miguna has decided to go back to Canada.
In his statement on Tuesday, Dr. Miguna said he has been in Germany since January 5 but he has not made it to his home country despite government’s assurance that it will not block him from stepping into his home country.
“On January 6, I was blocked from boarding germany airline AirLufthansa and later also blocked from boarding france airline Airfrance to Kenya because Despot Uhuru Kenyatta had issued illegal “red alerts” and threatened withdraw landing rights to all airlines that flew me to Nairobi,” noted Miguna.

He said he has been waiting for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his appointees at the Ministries of Interior and Immigration to obey court orders and revoke their illegal “red alerts” to no avail.
“I’ve no option but to return to exile in Canada. I’ll not surrender. The struggle continues,” he noted.
Miguna said though he was planning to attend the funeral of his father-in-law Omollo Awange who will be buried on Wednesday, 22 in Migori, he could not.
He condemned President Uhuru and Raila Odinga for what he claimed as a total abuse of power.
