The Senate decision was predictable, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has said.
According to Murkomen, the senate was going nowhere in discussing the Kirinyaga Governor terming the three day sitting as a waste of time.
Murkomen said Waiguru knew long ago that she will be off the hook that why she never bothered appearing before the senate.
“The senate has been reduced to a private family property despite all the open evidence it could not take any stern action,” noted Mr. Murkomen.
The senate committee led by Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala on Friday cleared the governor of any corruption allegations.

Waiguru is said to have embezzled millions of Kirinyaga county government funds failing to deliver on various important development projects to the people of Kirinyaga.
Kirinyaga county assembly majority leader David Kinyua said the governor embezzled over 10.6 million shillings she allocated herself as travel allowance, despite given the whole amount, she did not travel.
The majority leader further said that Waiguru bought a coffee shop in the United States with public funds, allegations that the governor has since denied.
Waiguru is further accused of favouritism in employment and issuance of contracts to.
“Most county tenders have been allocated to companies owned by the governor or her close allies,” revealed Mr. Kinyua.
However despite all the dirty deals laid bare, Waiguru insisted that she is clean of any graft allegations against her.
According to the Kirinyaga governor all the allegations are unfounded and malicious.
However, Friday afternoon will be the big day Kenyans will know the Senate legitimacy.
The Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala 11 member led committee will put to an end the anxiety among Kenyans over the impeachment of Waiguru.
Kenyans have criticised the Senate for being controlled by external forces, saying despite all evidence being laid bare, Waiguru may be a free woman to walk back to her office.
