Passengers heading to Nairobi from Mombasa were engulfed by shock and fears after it emerged that the aircraft they were flying in had inadequate fuel.
The reports traversed quickly through the social media and quickly the aircraft that had taken off from the Moi international airport in Changamwe at around 3:25 pm made an emergency landing back at the Moi International airport.
The aircraft was refueled and took off once again to Nairobi.
According to one of the passengers they were provided with oxygen masks and were urged to be calm as the pilot was flying back for refueling.
“Some passengers were already crying saying their last prayers,” revealed one of the passengers.
A video showing the aircraft being refueled at the Moi international airport has already resurfaced on social media.
However, the airline remained mum over the matter.
