Kisauni schools to benefit from friendly learning environment program

Kisauni Primary and Secondary schools will benefit from a friendly learning environment program launched by the area Legislature Ali Mbogo.

The ongoing program which focuses all the six wards within Kisauni Constituency will ensure all pupils and students get facilities and learning equipments to enable them pursue their education without encountering problems.

The Kisauni Member of Parliament said that ‘Elimu kwanza’ program was unstoppable as it meant to equip learners with necessities that will enable them perform well in education.

Mbogo however said that good parenting and proper learning environment was a responsibility of all stakeholders in the area.

He urged parents, teachers and students to work closely with the current leadership so as to improve the education sector.

“When we launched ‘Elimu kwanza’ education program in 2013, we meant business and to date the program has grown and reached many pupils who had already given up in their education course,” added Mbogo.

He appealed to parents to always attend education dialogue forums and chat the way forward with him so that the revamp of education sector in Kisauni becomes successful.

“We should not leave our children to teachers, as parents we have a huge responsibility at home in ensuring that our children embrace education,” he added.

In the recent past, crime wave has marred Kisauni constituency with the emergence of ‘Wakali kwanza’ and ‘Wakali wao’ criminal gangs making the area inhabitable.

Already distribution of lockers, desks and other learning equipments is underway in Kisauni Constituency.

Under the ‘Elimu kwanza’ program, most of the children from humble background have gone back to school after the MP invented a special bursary kitty to help needy students in his constituency.
