With less political noise and bickering some have decided to mingle with locals in farming activities.
Lamu senator Anuwar Loitiptip has taken the same steps.

The youthful Senator seems to be changing his way of living, the native rural life close to his people.
On Saturday Mr. Loitiptip launched anti-Coronavirus campaign in the county.
The senator who recently took his Governor Fahim Twaha head-on over Lamu dwindling development record said Lamu residents wanted to see more efforts from the county government.
