A young man was on Monday arrested at the Likoni ferry channel for ferrying bhang.
Mohammed Kassim Mnyetto was heading to the Likoni mainland from Mombasa Island
Confirming the incident, Likoni OCPD Jane Munywoki said the 30 year old Man was crossing to the mainland and after security agents inspected the luggage, they found 100 big rolls of bhang stashed in a 50 kilogram saw dust sack.
“Security officers were suspicious after Mnyeto objected to security orders for his luggage to be inspected,” noted Munywoki.

He has cautioned security officers at the inspection gate to be extra vigilant and not to allow any luggage past the inspection gate without being properly inspected.
Mnyeto is being detained at the Likoni police station and will be charged in court on Tuesday morning.
