Siaya Senator James Orengo has urged President William Ruto to record statement on what he knows about Arror and Kimwerer dam scandal.
Further, Orengo said he is offering the DP free legal assistant in case he lacks legal representation before the Director of criminal investigation.
According to Orengo the fight against graft should not at anytime be politicised.
He criticised a section of politicians for derailing efforts of containing graft in the country.
“Let’s support the Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Hajj he is doing his best, this fight is not targeting any specific community,” noted Mr. Orengo.
He said the country has been for many years marred by corruption and it is time the culprits are punished.
“Any citizen who loved his country and who has been yearning for development should support the ongoing fight against corruption,” added Orengo.
He urged all those implicated in graft to surrender to the investigation authorities.
“Please don’t weight until there is a warrant of arrest against you, present your self to the DCI to save time,” said Orengo.
He urged Kenyans to stand up in protecting their taxes and resources from thieves.
Orengo statement comes as Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu is struggling to defend his seat after he was implicated in sh 584 million cunty funds embezzlement saga.
In a recent ruling high court judge Justice Mumbi Ngugi ordered that whenever a governor is charged of graft or other counts they should relinquish their power to their deputies.
