ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi has rubbished those saying 2022 Presidential race will be between two horses.
Mudavadi said the 2022 presidential battle will be among many other contestants and not between Deputy President William Ruto and ODM Leader Raila Odinga.
Addressing locals in the Western Kenya, Mudavadi said Kenyans should clearly demarcate between genuine politics and politics of selfish interests.
According to Mudavadi he is not going for anything less than the presidency and those opposing his bid should prepare for a serious political battle.
He urged those eying for the top seat not to expect his backing.
“If you think I am preparing to back anyone for the presidency you are extremely wrong. I will battle you politically,” reiterated Mr. Mudavadi.
He said his top agenda is to revive the country’s economy.
Mudavadi said the country’s economy is on its knees and need an urgent revival.
He said Kenyans are going through tough economic times and fresh approach to reviving the economy remains his top priority.
He said Kenyans lost hope long ago following the government thirsty of borrowing money from foreign country’s.
“It is clear that the heavy debt has effected Kenyans economically. This situation should stop and make the country depends on itself,” noted the ANC party Leader.
He vowed to traverse the country to ask Kenyans for support so that he sails to the presidency come 2022 general election.
Mudavadi is expected to battle it out with Deputy President William Ruto, ODM Leader Raila Odinga, Wiper Democratic Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka among many others who are yet to publicly declare their interest for the top seat.
