Mvita Legislature Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir has reiterated that it’s not yet time for 2022 political campaigns.
Nassir says locals are yearning for some serious development and not 2022 political campaigns.
According to Nassir, the current fierce political exchange has majorly divided Kenyans and politicians should trade their activities with utmost caution.
Addressing locals in his Mvita constituency, Nassir once again appealed to Mombasa county residents to realign themselves with development oriented leaders.
He urged them to keep safe a track record of each politician so that they challenge them when they ask for votes.
“We all clearly understand that we don’t eat politics but rely hugely on development at grassroots level,” he said.
He cautioned politicians trading divisive politics that they are doing a major disservice to their people.
Let’s embrace politics of unity, agenda, development and mostly maintain peace,” he said.
The Mombasa gubernatorial hopeful urged locals to work closely with him so as to transform Mombasa county.
Nassir announced his bid for Mombasa gubernatorial seat come 2022.
He is expected to battle it out with investor cum politician Suleiman Shahbal, Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo among others.
