Jubilee Deputy Chairperson David Murathe has reiterated that National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale’s fate as the Majority leader in the National Assembly is as good as sealed.
Murathe said Duale is no longer interested in Jubilee party matters and their is no need of retaining him.
According to Murathe, members who has shown no interest in matters revolving around Jubilee party should be expunged from critical house committee.
He said that the Jubilee Party Leader President Uhuru Kenyatta is fully aware of the whole process of removing Duale from the post.
Murathe reiterated that the party does not entertain those flouting party rules and provisions.
“We will not entertain anyone who is advancing issues against Jubilee party provisions,” he reiterated.
Already the motion to remove Duale from the National Assembly Majority leader which was brought up by MP Kanini Kega has also been handed over to President Uhuru Kenyatta for further directions.
Recently a total of 16 house committee members and Chairperson allied to Deputy President Willam Ruto were axed from the committees.
11 of the legislatures were in the positions of Deputy Chairperson while 5 of the them were chairing the committees.
The leaders supporting the DP have however remained defiant.
They vowed to support the Deputy President and remain in Jubilee.
On Monday the Jubilee Party will conduct its meeting to be led by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
