Claims of hired goons by some politicians opposing the Hustler movement have resurfaced.
On Friday when the Deputy President William Ruto toured Mombasa County, his supporters claimed that some youth have been paid to disrupt the DP forum at Kadongo grounds in Mishomoroni, Mombasa.
Nyali MP Mohammed Ali said though they have reported the matter to Mombasa top police bosses, no tangible actions were coming forth.
Ali said the DP empowerment forums and programs at the Coast region will go on despite the strong opposition.
“We told the security agencies about these plans and wherever they are they are fully informed and aware of all possible insecurity actions by our opponents,” reiterated Mr. Ali.
He cautioned the youth against being misused by politicians but instead join the hustler movement so that they chat the way forward for this country.
“It is time to enact the changes we have all been yearning for years, the country needs fresh leadership and actually a fresh start,” noted Ali.
He said the youth will only benefit from leadership when they realign themselves with the hustlers movement, arguing that with the many years they have been working with the dynasty, they reaped totally nothing.
Deputy President William Ruto camped at the Coastal region to distabilise ODM strongholds.
The DP recently launched United Democratic Alliance-UDA party that seems to be the ticket for his 2022 presidential ambitions.
Ruto will on Saturday tour Kilifi county where he will also inspect various development projects and empower both women and youth groups.
He will be hosted by Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa.
