Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga is well health wise.
Raila was taken ill last week and has been under close monitoring at the Nairobi hospital.
In a video that surfaced on Sunday, Raila is seen doing some exercises in good health.
He is seen jogging and in total happy mood.
“I am back home and I will be on self quarantine,” he posted on his social media handles.
Raila’s ailing was marred with rumours and all sorts of divergent opinions and views with his countrywide political fans sent into panic.
However, Odinga’s elder brother Oburu Odinga assured Kenyans that Raila was responding well to treatment.
Kenyans were barred from visiting Raila at the hospital.
Raila is said to have contracted Covid-19 from a Mombasa family during his five day political tour in the region.
The ODM leader camped at the Coast to drum support for the Constitution Amendment Bill, 2020, Building Bridges Initiative, (BBI).
Raila traversed the region camping in Taita Taveta, Kilifi, Kwale and Mombasa Counties.
He appealed to the Coastal people to support BBI and ensure it sails through in all the pending stages.
He told Coast residents that they will reap big from BBI and none of them should ignore the initiative.
“You will benefit from more funds that will trickle down to every county,” Raila told residents at a public forum at Caltex grounds in Likoni Sub-county.
Later after he returned to Nairobi, the ODM leader was rushed to the Nairobi hospital for urgent medical attention.
Raila was said to be suffering from fatigue and that he needed edequate bed rest.
Later his test for Covid-19 turned positive.
