The Jubilee Party has expelled 7 nominated senators among them Millicent Omanga and Isaac Mwaura.

According to a letter signed by the Party’s Secretary General Raphael Tuju, the National Management Committee (NMC) met on Monday and deliberated on a report given by the Party Disciplinary Committee before reaching the conclusion to expel the senators.

The letter further adds that the expulsion is with immediate effect.

“The NMC in exercising its mandate as provided for under Article 7 (2A) of the party constitution and relying on other enabling provisions of the party constitution has expelled nominated senators, Isaac Mwaura, Mary Yiane, Naomi Waqo, Millicent Omanga,  Victor Prengei, Christine Zawadi and Iman Falhada Dekow  from the party.

The seven are strong supporters of Deputy President William Ruto and have openly expressed their loyalty to the DP’s quest for presidency in the 2022 race.
