Political battle

The two term Mvita Legislature has received major backing from his Mvita constituents, but has equally faced major challenge from his opponents who claimed he is the incumbent Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho’s political project.

The politician who vowed to take over the mantle from Joho vehemently denied the claims saying, Nassir says his political agenda to lead Mombasa residents to a transformative change is open and straight forward and not at any time he has been a politician’s project.

“I am the people’s project and I have a binding development charter with Mombasa residents who I will tirelessly serve when I become the Mombasa governor,” he reiterated.

Nassir lashed out at his opponent saying they are using all sorts of claims, blames and abuse to tarnish his clean and clear political development record, urging Mombasa residents to remain focused so that they directly benefit from his county government when he sails into leadership during the August, 9, 2022 general election.

In the Mombasa gubernatorial race, Nassir is battling it out with among his opponents, the current Mombasa Deputy Governor Dr William Kingi, Vibrant Democratic Party (VDP) Party’s Hezron Awiti, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Hassan Omar Hassan.
