Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday harvested big from the Mt. Kenya region after the National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi officially joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
His move end months of speculations about his recent signals of joining Deputy President William Ruto led Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
The Democratic Party Leader on Saturday signed a coalition agreement with the Alliance in an event that was also witnessed by Amani National Congress (ANC) Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi and FORD Kenya’s Moses Wetangula.
The signing of the agreement is seen as a big harvest after Ruto initiated a strong campaign targeting the Mt. Kenya region.
“I am joining Kenya Kwanza because I believe in it, in fact, I was the pioneer of the name Kenya Kwanza. We sympathize with our friends who are experiencing political constipation,” revealed Muturi.
Commenting on Muturi’s move, another Kenya Kwanza Alliance Principal, Musalia Mudavadi said Muturi’s move means a lot in the country’s political arena.
“To our competitors, please try and flagstone together a plan and an agenda to sell to the people, We are going to shame the deep state and dark forces,” said the DP.
He said Kenyans know how to speak and they do it well in the ballot come August, 9 during the general election.
