Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has expressed his dissatisfaction with which the government has been operating.
Sonko says President Uhuru Kenyatta has been surrounded by inhuman characters and he should remain alert.
According to Sonko the government has openly discriminated against some Kenyans a situation that has openly divided the county.
“We are talking about unity and equity yet some Kenyans are openly being oppressed by their own government,” noted Sonko
The Nairobi Governor appealed to President Uhuru Kenyatta to fully embrace an all inclusive government that will properly oversee the needs and rights of all Kenyans.
According to Sonko, the country is seriously divided and all efforts should be implemented to ensure Kenyans walk together in Unity.
“During Saturdays’ national payer day, President Kenyatta asked for forgiveness from Kenyans hopefully he sticks by his words and cease oppression against Kenyans,” said Sonko.
According to Sonko, the recent protocols adopted by the cabinet should apply to all Leaders and not implemented in discriminatory manner.
He said the country has been plunged into 2022 political battle following the feeling that some political leaders are being slowly removed from the government or from the ruling political party.
The politician warned that the divisive politics witnessed in the country have resulted into hatred among various communities.
Sonko called for unity among politicians in the country.
Recently, Kenyans have witnessed major fall-out between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
Recently Ruto’s forums have received strong rejection from security agencies and his supporters forcefully dispersed by police.
The same situation has been experienced in the Western where political leaders supporting the DP have fought with police while those supporting President Kenyatta and ODM Leader Raila Odinga freely conducting their political forums, enjoying total security.
Recently, Ruto’s team was blocked from conducting campaigns in the ongoing Msambweni by-election campaigns where Ruto is backing independent candidate Feisal Dori.
