Mombasa grass root women leaders have castigated two legislators Johanna Ng’eno (Emurua Dikir) and Oscar Sudi (Kapseret) over their abusive remarks against Kenyatta’s family saying such remarks demonstrates disrespect.

Led by Mombasa Jubilee women grass root leader Linet Wamai, they called upon the politicians to refrain from insults and abusive language in public platforms saying it portrays lack of political decorum.

This comes after the two legislators were recorded uttering unsavoury remarks against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family.

Ms Linet Wamai also called upon deputy president Dr William Ruto to tame his allies, saying the incitements being uttered can cause political turmoil and disunity.

Her remarks were echoed by her fellow women leaders Alice Akoth Owoko and Zulfah Bwoga who urged political leaders to exercise restraint, avoid insults and bad language against other Kenyans.
