President Uhuru Kenyatta will today address the nation at Parliament buildings in Nairobi.
President Kenyatta will address the nation at the National assembly building where only 114 Members of parliament from both the Senate and National assembly will be allowed to attend.
The other members will be following the President’s address from other chambers.
The address was to be issued in early March, 2020 however, due to the Covid-19 threat, it never happened.
National assembly Speaker Justine Muturi has also cancelled the special lunch that is served to the President and members of both houses following the Covid-19 threat.
The President is expected to delve into the Building Bridges Initiative BBI, the Covid-19 pandemic among other issues.
Most of Kenyans have urged the President to consider the expenses incurred by Kenyans in purchasing Personal Protective equipment since many cannot afford.
