President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday blamed his Deputy William Ruto saying he left him alone despite being the country’s Deputy President.

Uhuru said Ruto being in the government cannot go to the market and blame the same government he is serving.

Uhuru criticised Ruto saying he is the reason why he went for Raila to help him solve the crisis the government was facing.

The Head of state who was addressing the nation during Labour Day Celebration at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on Sunday, May, 1 said though Raila has his shortcomings, he has helped him run the government.

“Instead of helping me solve issues, you are out there pointing fingers at me. Where were you when I needed you? That’s why I am grateful to Raila even if he had his own issues he came to assist me,” noted the president.

However, his Deputy, William Ruto did not spare him.

“Sorry my Boss. I feel your pain .Those you assigned my responsibilities and project, Mzee have let you down miserably. They bangled our Big4 agenda, killed our party and wasted your second term, Boss I am available, just a phone call away,”  DP Ruto added a pinch of salt to the already paining wound.

The rift between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his president William Ruto seem to be evident in public with the two crashing down each other whenever they meet in public function functions.

Uhuru has openly seen avoiding his Deputy and avoiding shaking his hand mostly during the Late former Kenya’s president Mwai Kibaki State Funeral.

The president tried as much as possible not to face or shake hand with his Deputy.

However, during Kibaki’s burial in Othaya, Nyeri County, Ruto seriously calculated his speech selling the bottom up economic development model intelligently, attracting public ululation.
