Bandari fc duo made it on the 24-man Harambee stars squad


Mombasa County and FKF Mombasa branch has pride itself after two of its players made it to the 24 man Harambee stars squad. The two, Abdalla Hassan and Faruk Shikalo who both play for Bandari are expected to feature in the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana.

Terming it as an honour for the people of the port city and the coast at large, FKF Mombasa branch management emphasised that the gesture has set a pace for the young players who are ambitious of propelling to greater heights in matters football as the sky is just a limit.

Kenya National Football team coach Sébastien Migné (pictured above) named the final 24-man squad earlier today and looked optimistic in winning the match having the home ground advantage.

Migné was boosted by the arrival in camp of influential forwards Michael Olunga and Ovella Ochieng, as well as midfielders Eric Johanna and Johanna Omollo.

The match is scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani, starting at 4 pm.

Also lined up is an International friendly match against Malawi, slated for Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani starting at 4 pm.
