The government has returned four expensive range rovers that were stolen from the United Kingdom and shipped into the country.
The four vehicle Black Range rover Vogue, White Mercedes Benz and two black rangerovers sports were stolen from the Berkshire, London and Oxfordshire and were shipped into the country through the port of Mombasa between November 2018 and November 2019.
The four vehicles worthy about Sh. 40m have been tracked by the DCI, the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) the UK National Crimes Agency.
UK government has been working closely with the Kenya Revenue Authority in tracking the four expensive vehicles.
British High Commissioner to Kenya through his first secretary Mr. Waqar Qureshi said they will work closely with Kenya to see swift reshipping of the vehicles.
