MCBC transport company recorded big loss after two of its busses burst into flames.
The two vehicles were parked at the company’s yard at Makupa area within Mombasa Island when the incident occurred.
The automotive engineers working on repair works of the two vehicles escaped unhurt.
According to the MCBC transport company that owns a fleet of cargo transport vehicles, Modern Coast courier services and Modern Coast passenger busses, the cause of the fire remains a puzzle.
Though efforts to salvage the two vehicles were immediately launched, the two vehicles parked together in the yard were reduced to rubbles on Saturday evening.
The company operates in the larger East Africa Countries with its both cargo and passengers services covering Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.
Police have launched investigations on the fire incident.
