President Uhuru Kenyatta has revoked the appointment of the entire Kenya Ferry Services board.
Though the President has been silent about the recent devastating incident of the death of Mariam Kighenda and her daughter Amanda Mutheu, on Thursday he expunged the entire KFS board among them the Chairperson Dan Mwazo, members Daula Omar, Naima Omar, Philip Ndolo and Rosina Nasigha Mruttu.
The revocation comes barely a week after the two bodies were retrieved from the Indian Ocean.
The two plunged into the ocean after their vehicle slipped back aboard MV- Harambee on September 29.
The failed search and rescue mission led to the public booing the KFS for laxity.

It took the efforts from South African Divers who together with other Kenyan divers retrieved the two bodies 13 days later.
The board has been instructed to leave offices immediately.
